Minh joined Planet Rating in March 2005 as Managing Director. Prior to Planet Rating, he was the General Manager of SPBD – Samoa’s largest microfinance institution. He also had prior microfinance experience with AfK in Kosovo. Prior to moving into microfinance, Minh had 7 years of investment and commercial banking experience with JP Morgan Securities in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore and with EDC -Canada’s export credit agency- in Indonesia and Vietnam. Together with the Planet Rating team, Minh completed the firm’s spin-off process, raised capital, decentralized operations and expanded our rating coverage internationally. Minh has led numerous rating and training missions on all continents since joining Planet Rating. Minh holds a MBA in International Management from Thunderbird – The Garvin School of International Management (Phoenix, USA).
