Mansour Kelada-Antoun
Investment Specialist

Mr. Mansour Kelada is an investment specialist with 20 years of experience in the development field. As a senior investment officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) over a period of 12 years, he promoted, identified and structured investments in the emerging markets of the Middle East and West Africa. He oversaw the financing of projects in tourism, environment, infrastructure, capital markets, manufacturing industries, oil and gas, by mobilizing financing from domestic and international sources. He managed IFC’s investment portfolio and developed its strategy in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. In 2000, he developed the IFC’s global decentralization strategy. Previously, as the Director of EQI’s Solid Waste Management Department, he advised the Government of Egypt and the World Bank on municipal waste management systems. Mr. Kelada structured and executed the first currency swap in Egypt and arranged the first Global Depositary Receipt issue in North Africa. He is Advisor to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. Board memberships include Interfina, a $25 million privatization fund; Mediafinance, an investment bank specializing in fixed income securities; ABC Algeria, the first private commercial bank in Algeria; Framlington Maghreb, a mutual fund manager; and IM Bank, the first Tunisian investment bank.
