Momina Aijazuddin

Momina Aijazuddin is a Senior Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). She is currently responsible as the Program Manager for Microfinance for The Private Enterprise Partnership - Middle East & North Africa (PEP-MENA,). PEP MENA is IFC’s largest technical assistance (TA) program and is managed from its regional headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. IFC PEP-MENA has offices located throughout the MENA region, covering 20 countries from Morocco to Pakistan. She has been with IFC since 1998 and has worked in several departments focusing on general manufacting, including tourism in MENA region and the financial sector. Since 2001, she has worked on financial market development in various countries in Africa, Southern Europe, Central and South Asia, Middle East, East Asia and Africa. She has worked on a number of IFC microfinance/ SME banking investments specifically in Jordan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Afghanistan,Turkey and Tanzania and post conflict IFC engagement in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as global work in IFC's trade initiative. She holds a MSC Hons in Development Economics from the London School of Economics and has prior experience in the fields of finance and banking.
